Lohor Music (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Lohor Music platform (website and mobile app) for music distribution services to artists and labels. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Information We Collect

We only collect information after you choose to create an account. Before signing up, our app and website only show a Login and Sign Up screen — we do not collect any personal information from visitors who haven’t registered.

When you sign up, we collect: your name, email address, password (stored securely, never in plain text), your role (Artist or Label), and an optional referral code.

When you complete your profile, we collect: phone number, address, bank account details (bank name, account holder name, account number, IFSC code), and tax identifiers (PAN, GST number) — used solely to process your royalty payouts.

When you upload music, we collect: release and track metadata (titles, artist/singer/lyricist/composer/music director names, ISRC codes, genre, language, copyright owner, release dates), and the actual audio files and cover artwork you upload.

When you use the app, we automatically collect: device type, browser, operating system, IP address, and login/activity timestamps, to keep your account secure and show you your login activity.

When you contact support, we collect the messages and any file attachments (images, PDFs, or audio) you send us.

Other information: referral activity (who you’ve referred), revenue and payout records associated with your account, and in-app notifications.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Create and manage your account
Process and distribute your music releases
Calculate and pay out your royalties and referral rewards
Respond to support requests
Keep your account secure and show your login/session history
Communicate important updates about your account or releases

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Third-Party Services

We use Cloudflare to host our website, run our application, store our database, and store your uploaded files (audio and images). Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf as part of providing these services.

We do not share your personal data with music streaming platforms (such as Spotify, Apple Music, JioSaavn, or others) through this app. Distribution of your music to streaming platforms, where applicable, happens outside of this system.

We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking services, and we do not use crash-reporting tools that collect personal data.

Data Security

Passwords are stored using industry-standard encryption (never in plain text). We use secure connections (HTTPS) for all communication with our servers. Access to sensitive information, such as bank and tax details, is restricted to what’s necessary to process your payouts.

Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you’d like your account or data deleted, please contact us at the email below.

Your Rights

You can:

Access and update most of your profile information from your Account page
Request a copy of your data
Request deletion of your account and associated data

Children’s Privacy

Lohor Music is intended for artists, labels, and music industry professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
